No. You do not need to be a Bx member to enter the Business xCellence Awards.

Entry is completely free.

Entries close on Monday 21 December 2026.

Yes. Your application is designed to be completed progressively. You can save your answers, leave and return to continue or update your application while entries remain open.

No. There is no final Submit button. Whatever is saved in your application when entries close will form your final application for assessment.

You can select one Primary Award Category plus up to two additional category preferences.

Each business may lodge one Awards application per Awards year. The Awards team may merge, rename or reallocate categories where appropriate.

Supporting evidence is optional, but it can help demonstrate or verify the information included in your application.

You can provide up to eight supporting items, such as testimonials, case studies, screenshots, reports or data, awards and certifications, photos, media coverage, supporting documents or relevant links.

Quality and relevance are more important than volume.

Judging considers a range of information to build a broader picture of each business.

This may include your application responses and supporting evidence, external human judging, AI-assisted analysis, website and social media review, Google reviews, ratings and rankings, relevant publicly available business information and final moderation by the Awards team.

Finalists will be announced in early January 2027.

The Business xCellence Awards Night will be held on Saturday 13 March 2027 at Shangri-La Sydney.

Early Bird tickets are $297 incl. GST per person and are available until 31 January 2027.

After Early Bird pricing ends, standard tickets are $347 incl. GST per person.

Yes. A table of 10 is $2,970 incl. GST, making it a great option if you're attending with your team, clients or guests.

Your ticket includes dinner, drinks, entertainment, the Business xCellence Awards ceremony and networking.

No. Awards Night ticket pricing is the same for Bx members and non-members.

Yes. You can purchase multiple tickets in the same transaction. Where practical, tickets purchased together will be seated together.

No. The personalised Business xCellence Dashboard Report is a bonus for eligible businesses represented at the Awards Night through a ticket purchase. It is not automatically provided to every business that enters.

No. Please use the same email address connected to your Bx membership so your Awards access connects correctly with your existing account.
